About Marissa
Marissa joined ClearPoint in July of 2014 initially to help grow the learning strategy and content development functions as a critical component of the business. In this role she focused on understanding the key competencies ClearPoint needed to be able to best represent learner’s needs and our customer’s business needs. As she got to know the organization, she and the team realized the natural intersection with other operational functions. Today Marissa serves as VP of Global Operations, representing the project management, content development and production functional areas, all of which are structured as cross-geography teams.
Industry Background
Marissa has a diverse industry and agency background with a continual focus on the intersection of health care, education, and technology. She has represented a variety of communication agency client service and strategy roles, most immediately prior to ClearPoint serving on the executive leadership team of a health education company where she led the growth of the organization’s instructional design capability and new market endeavors in health information technology. Previously, she focused on developing integrated marketing campaigns (mass media television and print, online, in-office, pharmacy initiatives, CRM programs, sales and nurse training, device and delivery system instructions for use, etc.). She also spent time as a primary care sales representative for respiratory and allergy products, which provided her a glimpse into the real-life interactions between physicians, their staff, and their patients.
Personal Interests
When she’s not enjoying all that Hoboken – her hometown as well as our HQ – has to offer, Marissa can often be found working her way toward becoming a member of the Million Miler frequent flyer club. She’s less than 150,000 miles from it. Where should she go next?
